Warranty Policy

Two-Year Limited Warranty

XTOOL is committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction with a comprehensive two-year limited warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and offers peace of mind for your diagnostic tools, subject to the following terms and conditions:


Warranty Coverage
  • Host and VCI: 24 months from the activation date of the device.

  • Charger/VCI Box/Battery: 12 months from the activation date of the device.

  • Other Accessories: 12 months from the activation date of the device.

  • A valid proof of purchase (such as a receipt or invoice) is required to confirm warranty eligibility.


Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not apply in the following cases:

1. Beyond the product's warranty period.

2. Serial number is unclear, altered, or damaged.

3. Warranty label or sealed label is altered or damaged.

4. Product was serviced, repaired, or modified by unauthorized parties.

5. Physical damage caused by misuse or incorrect operation.

6. Scratches or damage to covers and external parts caused by abnormal use.

7. Damage due to failure to follow the product manual or use outside the stipulated working conditions (e.g., extreme temperatures, humidity, voltage instability).

8. Damage caused by force majeure or external factors (e.g., shock, lightning, fire, vandalism, liquid exposure, water damage).

9. Use with unauthorized accessories or improper connections.

10. Damage caused by unauthorized software, pirated software, or improper software settings.

11. Damage caused by computer viruses.

12. Reduced battery life or normal wear and tear of components.

13. Damage resulting from forgotten passwords or decryption methods set by the user.

14. Damage not related to design, manufacturing, or technology issues.

15. Indirect or incidental losses caused by product faults (e.g., loss of profit, data, or working time).

Repair Costs
  • Within the Warranty PeriodXTOOL will repair or replace any defective product or parts with new or refurbished components and return the product in good working condition. While parts and labor costs are covered, shipping fees are split: each party covers the cost of their shipment ("sender pays shipping"). Replaced parts or equipment remain the property of XTOOL.

  • Out-of-Warranty ProductsThe end user is responsible for all logistics costs, material costs, labor charges, and handling fees incurred during the repair or service process.

XTOOL reserves the right to improve its products and update specifications without prior notice.


Service and Returns

If you encounter any issues with your XTOOL product, please follow these steps:

1. Contact Support: Reach out to XTOOL customer support at supporting@xtooltech.com or contact your local dealer. Provide your product model, serial number, and a brief description of the issue. Our support team will assist you in resolving the problem and ensuring optimal performance of your XTOOL product.

2. Return Preparation

  • Securely package your product to prevent damage during transit.

  • Include your contact details (name, email, address, and phone number) and a detailed description of the issue.

  • Attach a copy of your proof of purchase.

  • Prepay shipping costs for the return.
