    NASTF SDRM Now Active on XTOOL Scan Tools

    XTool has adopted the National Automotive Security Task Force (NASTF) Secure Data Release Model (SDRM) program within its scan tool platform.


    As vehicle security systems continue to evolve, SDRM helps support secure, standardized access to advanced vehicle functions for properly vetted automotive professionals.


    What This Means


    Access to certain supported functions within XTool scan tools now requires:


    • Registration in the NASTF Vehicle Security Professional (VSP) registry

    • A valid Vehicle Security Professional (VSP) ID

    • Completion of applicable verification requirements

    How to Become a VSP
